Photovoltaic Systems
A photovoltaic system converts the radiation energy of the sun directly into electricity.
The electricity is to be transformed from direct current into alternating current with an inverter and fed into the electricity grid. Occasionally, an exclusive energy supply by means of photovoltaics is realized in off-grid systems.
Due to the high feed-in tariff for solar power, this variant only makes sense if no public power grid is available. In order to provide continuous energy, the energy has to be accumulated.
