Because of the low water-volume and a spread of 2-3 Kelvin, the zone regulator as a two point regulation is carried out through Distributors w. Valve drives.
This causes the valves to open the appropriate room, if there is a need to cool or to heat.
And the valve closes as soon as the desired temperature has been reached.
Each room is regulated separately by a regulator, the change from Heating to Cooling is centrally regulated.
Each room has a Dew Point Sensor, which shuts the system off in case the temperature drops below the Dew Point. If the humidity recedes, the system automatically resumes it’s
Function.

Room Regulator
The Room Regulator regulates the temperature in the room and protects the cooling surfaces from condensation by means of a Dew Point Sensor. The R.R. comes in various configurations and it runs on 24 V.
Room Regulator are available without an evaluation device for the Dew Point Sensor, in this case a converter is used, which allows the use of any R.R. for the Heating and Cooling of the cooling surfaces.

Dew Point Sensor
The Dew Point Sensor registers eventual appearing condensation at the cooling surfaces and it passes this signal directly on to the Room Regulator or to the converter.
The signal of the Room Regulator is recognized by the Room Regulator or by the converter and the appropriate zone is shut off. The sensors are available for all ceiling types, plaster ceilings, Dry-Wall and Metal-Cassettes.

Converter
The converter registers the signal of its Dew Point Sensor. Incase of a given signal by the sensor, an integrated circuit is activated. This info can be directly forwarded to the GLT or the current of the appropriate regulating valve will be disconnected. The converter makes use of Room Regulators without Dew Point Sensor evaluation.
Distributor
The system requires for each zone components to shut off, to hydraulically evaluate, as well as a regulating valve w. electric drive to regulate each single room. For the shut-off, corrosion-resisting metal or plastic ball valves are used. The shut-off valves can be integrated in the distributor.
The hydraulic evaluation is done with strangulating valves, which allocate the desired mass-flow for each zone. These valves can be integrated in the distributor.

Regulating Valves
The RVs are silent and they come in 230V or 24 V versions.
The drive keeps the valves closed if there is no electric current. The valve opens with electric current and the water circulates in the regulated zone.

Pre-Temperature Regulation
The regulator for the pre-temperature compares constantly the desired pre-temperature with a valve on the secondary side.
The regulator can be switched from Heating to Cooling modes by means of a change-over signal.
A second Temperature for heating or cooling can be programmed.
